Apostolic Work – Down & Connor

Apostolic Work was founded by Agnes McCauley in 1923 in Down & Connor and has been led by committed lay people who have supported Irish Missionaries and others in their work overseas.

Our successful fundraising and prayerful support over the years has made substantial differences to a multitude of diverse church based projects worldwide ensuring positive outcomes to enhance the lives of innumerable people. Projects to date have supported education, health, nutrition, and many community enterprises.

We have 56 branches throughout Down and Connor and a warm welcome awaits you if you decide to join us.

St Anne’s Branch of Apostolic Work would like to thank all those who contributed to our recent Church Door Collection. 

Your generosity raised the fantastic sum of £1830. 

This money will be sent to priests and nuns working in the missions.
